EcoPark Facility State-of-the-Art Plastic Waste Recycling ASTD's plastics recycling facility — undergoing construction in EcoPark and to be in operation by the end of 2026 — will be initially processing over 7000 tonnes of local plastic waste per year, creating raw materials and recycled finished products — completing the circular economy at a high scale.
Purpose & Highlights
It will showcase advanced practices in sorting, processing, and repurposing Hong Kong’s plastic waste. As a key part of the city's zero-landfill strategy, it will divert plastics from landfills and transforms them into valuable resources.
